A child molestation trial is winding down at the Mohave County courthouse in Kingman. Jose Raul Ramos-Ramirez, 37, is accused of taking advantage of a young girl at a family gathering on the Colorado River during the 4th of July weekend last year.
Ramos-Ramirez allegedly touched his step-daughter’s 11-year-old friend after taking her down the river on a jet ski ride. The alleged victim reported the incident to her mother when they returned to Community Park in Bullhead City.
Ramos-Ramirez, an illegal immigrant from El Salvador, faces a prison sentence and possible deportation if convicted.
