A Lake Havasu City woman is charged with computer tampering for changing the grades of her three children. An investigation revealed that Hayde Chacon, 33, a former school employee, gained and utilized unauthorized access into the school computer system on multiple occasions between 2013 and July, 2016.

Chacon allegedly elevated the grades and class standing of each of her three girls. A police report indicated that Chacon falsified records to promote one of her daughter’s to class valedictorian, statistically impossible given how far behind she was to the true academic leader.
