A pair of prominent Mohave County employees are retiring and moving out of state to spend more time with family. Leaving their county posts at the end of the month are Bob Prince, Risk Management Director, and his wife Peggy, the former clerk of the board of supervisors.
Prince said he very much looks forward to residing in northwest Montana and enjoying the great outdoors with his three grandsons. Prince noted in his April 14 retirement letter that he leaves the department in good standing.
“We have overcome many challenges to become the premier public entity Risk Management department in the State of Arizona and we have pushed Enterprise Risk Management to new heights in Mohave County,” Prince said in his communication to county supervisors. He said he is timing his exit so that he can complete most, if not all, of the annual insurance renewals and the budget process.
Human Resources Director Ken Cunningham said a recruitment process is underway and that a new Risk Management Director could come on board sometime in July.
