According to reports from Parker Live, the first incident took place Wednesday night near Bouse, Calif. when a semi truck rolled and caught fire. La Paz County Sheriff’s Office reported the driver could not be found.
The 72 was said to be still closed early Thursday morning and expected to reopen to traffic by mid-morning. Check Arizona 511 for additional road condition information.
A second accident involving a semi catching fire reportedly took place on U. S. 95 on the California side of Lost Lake, reported Parker Live.
Traffic was being stopped while the scene was investigated by emergency crews and is expected to reopen shortly.
No injuries were being reported at the time.
