Kingman police report they’ve captured a serial business burglar. Agency spokeswoman Jennifer Sochocki said the February 17 arrest of Thomas Cook cleared eight “smash and grab” burglaries that were committed between January 30th and February 17th.

Police responded to a burglary alarm at a Hualapai Mountain Road business at 11:00 p.m. on February 17th. In the same time vicinity another officer pulled over a vehicle that matched the description of another vehicle suspected of involvement in some of the previous burglaries.

The 38-year-old Cook was driving the suspect vehicle that police say also contained items taken from the business on Hualapai Mountain Road. Sochocki said Cook eventually admitted involvement in the string of burglaries.
