Murder Victim's Family Calls For Justice, Say It Could Be A Hate Crime
Gill says Sunny immigrated to this country with the hope of raising his family only to have it all taken away from him by a murderer. Sikh Community and Toor family spokesman Rana Singh Sodhi is the brother of the Mesa gas station owner killed in a post-9/11 hate crime and he says this could have been a racially motivated murder. Singh Sohdi says that, in the years since, things have not gotten any better for Sikhs here. The 7-11 corporation has added to the Silent Witness reward, now totaling $11,000 and Gill urges anyone with information on Sunny’s death to call.
