The Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire District responded to a report of an abandoned, fully-involved structure fire in the area of Roosevelt and John L. Ave. Just before 3:00 am Saturday, first arriving crews discovered heavy, dark smoke and flames throughout the single-wide mobile home. A defensive attack was made to protect the nearby exposures and the fire was contained to the structure of origin. Three engines, one water tender and a Battalion Chief responded to the incident. The fire is under investigation at this time and deemed suspicious as the property had no utilities and was vacant at the time of the incident. No injuries were reported and the estimated damage was $17,000.
