A toddler nearly drowns in the family pool in Buckeye.  Deputy Chief David DuBois with the Buckeye Fire Department says crews arrived Saturday morning to an unresponsive three-year-old girl who was not breathing and did not have a pulse.  The child had been under water for about three to five minutes.  The little

girl was given CPR and did have a pulse when transported to Phoenix Children’s hospital for treatment.  According to DuBois, “there was no pool fence at this property which would have been a good deterrent.”
