Gregg Martin is settling into his new job as Chief Executive of the Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce. Martin said he’s excited about the opportunity to work for a strong Board of Directors and serve the local business community.

Martin assumed his new duties on September 26.

“Part of this acclimation in these first few weeks is to listen to folks, meet as many people as I can, hear what’s on their mind and learn what are people saying about the Chamber—good, bad, all of it—I want to hear what that is and then see how we can address it,” Martin said.
Martin said he and a three member staff are dedicated to serving the Chamber’s 400 members.

“It’s taking the needs of the membership and seeing how we can address them,” Martin said. “Our membership needs to get value from their membership. They’re making an investment in the Chamber.”

Chamber Board Chairman Lynne Petersen said she believes Martin’s background as a retired hospital executive provides management and leadership skills that will help move the organization forward.
