The Kingman City Council voted unanimously on June 5, 2015, to offer the position of City Magistrate to Jeffrey Singer of Poteau, Oklahoma. The offer is contingent upon successful completion of contract negotiations. An appointed Council subcommittee will work with Singer to develop an employment contract and start date. Time permitting, the committee hopes to bring an acceptable contract for ratification before the full Council at its regular meeting on June 16.

In addition being a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Mr. Singer is also a member of the Arizona Bar Association.
