Movie star John Wayne is the focus of the latest Sounds of Kingman entertaining arts series events. Tucson author Gregory McNamee will speak about the Duke and his connection to the Grand Canyon state.
Wayne starred in several movies filmed in Arizona, including “Stagecoach”, “Red River”, “The Searchers”, and “Rio Bravo” among others. In addition, Wayne spent many years exploring, living and investing Arizona.
McNamee’s presentation on October 15 at the Mohave Museum of History and Arts begins at 2:00 p.m.
