Roadway maintenance work is scheduled along State Route 89 (mileposts 360 to 363) as well as the Interstate 40 interchange ramps in Ashfork Monday (Feb. 8) through Wednesday, (Feb. 10), according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
Motorists are advised to be alert and prepared for intermittent lane closures in both directions and brief delays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. while crews perform preventive maintenance work designed to preserve the existing roadway.
The speed limit will be reduced in the work zone. Motorists are reminded to proceed with caution, slow down, and be alert for construction equipment and personnel.
