An episode of road rage involving pedestrians and a motorist evolved into a Wednesday shooting that is under investigation in Bullhead City. Spokeswman Emily Fromelt said police involvement began at 9:00 p.m. when the department learned of a gunshot victim at a local hospital and fielded a call from a man who claimed he had been involved in the shooting.
Fromelt said 31-year-old Tommy Brady told police that he and his girlfriend were pedestrians when they were nearly struck by a vehicle as they tried to cross Hancock Road. She said Brady reported that the man in the car turned around to confront him.
Fromelt said Brady told police he fired multiple shots at the vehicle which drove off. She said none of the three young children in the car were injured but that the driver ended up at the hospital.
29-year-old Daniel Garcia was reportedly flown to another hospital in Las Vegas for treatment of non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
There’ve been no charges or arrests and the investigation continues.
