Kingman police said a pedestrian was at fault when injured in a collision with an F250 pickup truck on Stockton Hill road. The incident occurred at 2:25 p.m. Monday, October 17.

Police spokeswoman Jennifer Sochocki said Jennifer Allison, 43, was trying to cross to the east from the west side of the thoroughfare at Miami Avenue. She said witnesses indicated Allison avoided one or more vehicles while crossing the southbound lanes and trotting into the side of the northbound pickup truck.

“Unfortunately the F250 being operated by a 33-year-old Kingman male was not able to avoid the collision as the female made contact with his front driver’s side quarter panel and side view mirror knocking her to the ground,” Sochocki said.

Allison was transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries including broken bones and severe road rash. Sochocki said the driver will not be cited.
