A Pinetop couple is heading to Nepal following a devastating earthquake.  American Red Cross Spokeswoman Trudy Thompson-Rice says Glen and Julie Bradley are retired U.S. Army Telecommunications experts who are highly skilled to provide disaster relief assistance.  The Bradley’s are only two of six people in

America who have the qualifications and the specialized skill-set to operate the satellite communication system for the American Red Cross.  Their bags are packed and they’re ready to jump on a plane as soon as word comes that it’s safe to travel to Nepal.  They are expected to take off from Sky Harbor Airport late Sunday night. Thompson-Rice says the Bradley’s were in Nepal about two years ago training for such a disaster so the couple is ready to hit the ground running as soon as they arrive.
