The incident from Shorewood Drive left  42-year old John Hubbard, a Lake Havasu City resident, with a stab wound near his left armpit that required emergency surgery at the Havasu Regional Medical Center.  The initial investigation led to the identification of Niger Noriega as being involved in the incident along with a female companion, later identified as Johnson.  Noriega and Johnson fled the scene in a small 2-door hatchback car.  Noriega was taken into custody on December 9, 2014, and was found to be in possession of the 2-door hatchback car.  The vehicle was found to be registered to Johnson. Jessica Johnson was charged with one count of aggravated assault. At her initial appearance, Johnson received a $100,000 bond and was later transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
