BADGEThis summer's last class of the 2016 Junior Police Academy Cadets has graduated!

School Resource Sergeant Evan Kunert commended the graduates.

“It is amazing to see how twenty-five individuals four weeks ago can come together to be a team.  It is not an easy four weeks, but they succeed and learn life skills that will hold true to adulthood," Kunert said. ``I’m proud of each and every one for their hard work and dedication.”

The Kingman Police Department would like to recognize the community members, leaders, and businesses who contributed to the program.

Krystal Burge from Peterson-Burge Enterprises presented a check at the graduation for the funds raised during the 2016 activities.  The funds raised will be utilized to continue the program for next summer.

The July 21 graduation concluded the 10th year for the Junior Police Academy which has influenced approximately 500 youth from the community, impacting their lives forever.  The new 2017 application process will be announced in February via media outlets such as our website, Facebook, Twitter, and our mobile app.
