Phoenix Police are trying to find who drove by a group of teens and opened fire on them Monday night, striking one. Sergeant Trent Crump says it happened around 9:00 p.m. in the area of North 23rd Avenue and Highland in West Central Phoenix. The car reportedly headed north on Camelback Road
after the shooting. Crump says a 14 year old girl was struck but her injuries are non-life threatening.
Police have no idea behind the motive for the shooting. As for the car, it’s only described as an older white vehicle with tinted windows. And because of the tinting, witnesses couldn’t tell how many people were in the car.
If you know anything that can lead to a suspect, you’re asked to call Phoenix Police.
