A West Phoenix man is lucky to be alive after getting shot and hit outside his home early Tuesday morning. Phoenix Police Sergeant Trent Crump says the attack stems from an earlier fight with a group of men at a park overnight Monday into Tuesday.
The suspects then went to his home at 99th Avenue and Indian School road and called him out to settle the score.
The man tried to flee from the group, and Crump says, someone fired with one bullet grazing the victim’s head. He was treated and released from the hospital Tuesday morning. Crump says it’s unknown what sparked the argument and shooting.
Investigators are still looking into the incident and no arrests have been made.
