stabbing-graphicOn October 20, 2015, at approximately 8:39 a.m. the Lake Havasu City Police Department took 30-year-old David Day into custody in the 3100 Block of Silversmith Drive for his alleged involvement in a stabbing that occurred on October 18, 2015, in the 2000 Block of Moyo Drive.

 The incident from Moyo Drive left the 34-year-old victim with several stab wounds that required treatment at Havasu Regional Medical Center. The initial investigation led to the identification of David Day as being involved in the incident. Day fled the scene prior to police arrival with an unknown male and female companion.  

The female companion was identified as 22-year-old Kristi Frakes and she was located with David Day in the 3100 Block of Silversmith Drive.  

Investigators are still trying to determine the identity of the male companion that was with David Day and Kristi Frakes during the stabbing. The male subject goes by the nickname “Cisco” and is described as a Hispanic male with a thin moustache. “Cisco” is considered an investigative lead and detectives are actively seeking to identify him. 

David Day was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. Day was held with no bond pending his initial appearance.   

Kristi Frakes was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and held with no bond pending her initial appearance.
