Phoenix Police say they’ve got a new shooting tied to the Serial Shooter crime spree. Sergeant Jon Howard says the latest shooting added to the list occurred July eleventh in an East Phoenix neighborhood near 32nd Street and Oak. Someone fired into a car where a 21 year old man and his
four year old relative were sitting in. Howard says the gunman fired several rounds, but, luckily, no one was hurt.
Howard says, this is the ninth incident connected to the seven fatal shootings that have terrified Maryvale and East Phoenix. Police believe the gunman has access to more than one car to commit his crimes. Witnesses have reported seeing a late 1990’s to early 2000’s B-M-V (like one pictured) and a white Cadillac.
