Residents have the chance to chime in on the proposed general plan that Lake Havasu City voters will decide during the general election in November. City Manager Charlie Cassens said interested parties can submit pro or con arguments on the question for publication in a voter information pamphlet.

The position statements must be limited to 300 words or less. There is a $100 fee which will cover part of the cost of publishing the pamphlets.

The statements must be submitted through the City Clerk’s office by a July 28 deadline. Anyone interested in reviewing the general plan proposal can do so through the city website.
