The Lake Havasu City Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a 35-year old suspect that is alleged to have committed burglary on March 22, 2015. The man is identified as Michael Brothers and he is believed to be homeless and possibly staying at local motels in Lake Havasu City.
On March 22, 2015, officers responded to the 3200 block of McCulloch Boulevard North in reference to a burglary in progress. When officers arrived on scene, the suspect fled the area and could not be located. The victim reported that she left her residence for approximately twenty minutes. When she arrived home, she saw a white bicycle on the porch area. As she went inside, she saw a male subject walking down the hallway near the bedrooms. She recognized the male as Michael Brothers, who is the son of a family friend. After a short conversation, Brothers fled the area on the bicycle.
During the investigation, police found that Brothers forced entry through the rear sliding glass door. It is also believed that Brothers took a fully loaded .38 caliber snub nose handgun and a Samsung tablet. Brothers is wanted by police in connection with this burglary investigation and is considered to be armed and dangerous. The police department is asking that you do not try to apprehend Brothers and notify police if he is located.
Brothers is described as a white male, 5’09” tall and approximately 150 pounds. Michael has short brown hair and blue eyes. He has a tear drop tattoo under his left eye and the word “killer” tattooed on the back of his neck.
