The 2017 personal watercraft freestyle championship competition is set for Lake Havasu this weekend. Freestyle is the one of the fastest growing adrenaline watersports since the invention of the personal watercraft.
Freestyle Personal Watercraft Association (FPWCA) is happy to announce that IJSBA sanctioned event West Coast Round of 2017 P1 Racing Fuels U.S. Freestyle Championship will take place on Saturday, April 29.
The U.S. PWC Freestyle Championship is the tour that separates freestyle competition from high-speed racing on personal watercraft.
Riders perform in 2 minute routines. Best Trick riders have two attempts to perform their trick.
Each competitor is judged on variety, difficulty, execution, flow and number of tricks by a selected panel of judges.
This is a second year for the freestyle only tour in USA after crossing over from Europe where tour started 6 years ago. Freestyle competition will be held at Rotary Park in front of the Skate Park at 1:30 pm.
Check out the “Best Trick Of The Night Competition” which will be held in the Bridgewater Channel under the London Bridge, which is schedule to start after dusk at 7:30 pm.
Come and check out top U.S. freestyle athletes performing unbelievable aerial maneuvers, back flips, barrel rolls and submarines right in front of you, and don’t forget those cameras to capture the maneuvers.
8-11am: Registration, technical inspection and free training
11:30am: Riders’ briefing
12pm: Competition start
6pm: Winner ceremony
