The portion of the trail that will be closed to the public lies within the Hoover Dam Security Zone and includes portions of the Trail immediately adjacent to the Lake Mead National Recreation Area.
The Trail area near Hoover Dam will be temporarily closed on the weekdays of Monday through Thursday from October 11 through November 17, 2016.
