Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Augustina Ivy Hanna, 34, of Supai, early Sunday (3/29) morning for resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, criminal damage and threatening, all misdemeanors. Approximately 12:13 a.m., deputies responded to Davis Camp located at 2251 Highway 68 in reference a disturbance at space 25. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the reporting party, a 39-year-old female victim. The RP said that Hanna, her friend, is intoxicated and throwing things into the river. The RP further said that Hanna is yelling and screaming and throwing trash around their campsite. Deputies observed a tent in a pile and beer cans scattered. Deputies contacted Hanna and observed she was intoxicated. Deputies observed Hanna’s demeanor change and become aggressive toward her friend. Hanna resisted as the deputy was taking her into custody. The deputy ordered Hanna to stop resisting, but she continued. Hanna fell forward onto the ground as the deputy attempted to handcuff her. Hanna was taken into custody after she was further restrained. Bullhead City Fire Department personnel responded and medically cleared Hanna. She was transported and booked into the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
