Alleged Kingman City budget thief Diane Richards made a brief court appearance during a preliminary hearing Monday, August 1. Attorneys informed the judge there has been a glitch in the case information disclosure process.
Defense attorney Adam Zickerman said he received 1,000 pages pertaining to the case but that he is expected 9,000 more. Prosecutor Michael Powell said he will work to complete the disclosure prosess.
Richards faces possible prison time if convicted of abusing her former position to steal more than $1-million from the city treasury. Her next court hearing is scheduled August 29.
