Police are looking for two suspects who scammed n 81-year-old woman out of thousands of dollars.  Sergeant Derek Elmore with Silent Witness says two women approached the victim at the Costco in Christown and convinced her to “invest”

$30,000 in order to split $150,000 between the three of them.
The suspects had the victim drive them to two different banks in an effort to obtain the funds.  The victim withdrew $15,000 from the first bank.  When the victim attempted to withdraw money from the second bank, luckily the bank manager recognized the victim and convinced her not to withdraw any more money and to redeposit the money removed at the first bank.  However, when the victim returned to the car, the suspects were gone, along with the 15 grand. 

The first suspect is described as a black women, about 45-years-old, five-six and 150 pounds with short straight black hair.   The second suspect is described as a black women, about 60-years-old, five-foot, 135 pounds with short curly hair, possibly a wig.  Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.  A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered to anyone who can provide information that leads to the capture and arrest of these two suspects.
