search and rescueMohave County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Units responded Wednesday (3/11) evening due to two male subjects four wheeling in a Jeep and they became stuck in the Mt. Trumbull area.  David Rogers’ wife called authorities several hours after she was unable to reach him on his phone after receiving a text message from him.  At about 9:30 p.m., deputies responded to the area and located the Jeep and found one of the subjects identified as Paul Arthur Furr, 81, of Utah.  Furr advised that Rogers left walking north towards Utah for help.  Search and Rescue Units from Washington County and Mohave County initiated a joint search.  Early Thursday (3/12) morning, Rogers was located by the Washington County SAR.  Both subjects were in good health and they were reunited with family members.
