The suspect who shot a security guard at a Glendale apartment complex overnight is on the run. Sergeant Scott Waite says a security guard was patrolling the parking lot when he spotted a suspicious man looking inside car windows. The security guard confronted the suspect who shot him at point blank range and ran.
Luckily, the security guard was wearing a bullet proof vest and only suffered minor bruising. The suspect is described as a Black man, about 25-years-old, five-nine and 200 pounds. The suspect could also have a distinctive scar on his face. Anyone with information is urged to call Glendale Police.
