Mohave Community College’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is presenting “Start Up Smart.” There is no cost to attend the seminar, but there is limited seating and reservations are recommended.
“The U.S. Small Business Administration outlined eight reasons why businesses fail within the first two years of operations,” said Lisa Card, SBDC analyst. “This seminar will teach new business owners techniques on how to combat those causes and increase their chances of success.”
The seminar will be offered from 9-11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23 in Room 2003 in Building 2000 on the Neal Campus-Kingman at 1971 Jagerson Ave., from 9-11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24 in Room 210 in Building 200 on the Bullhead City campus at 3400 Highway 95, and from 9-11 a.m. on Thursday, June 25 in Room 203C in Building 200 on the Lake Havasu City campus at 1977 Acoma Blvd., West.
MCC’s SBDC provides one-on-one confidential counseling to assist small business owners with new business start-ups or existing businesses that may want to expand or need guidance during challenges.
