On August 24, 2015, at approximately 12:55 p.m., detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Bureau, which is part of the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET) with the assistance of the S.W.A.T. Team, served a drug-related search warrant in the 3000 Block of Caliente Drive. The search warrant was a result of an on-going drug investigation. Detectives located and seized numerous items of drug paraphernalia during the search warrant. Arrested during the search warrant were 29-year-old Christopher Himes, 23-year-old Sarah Cox, 39-year-old Steven Hayden, 25-year-old Darrin Vinsant, and 23-year-old Brittanie Lehr. They are all residents of Lake Havasu City. Himes, Cox, Hayden, Vinsant and Lehr were all charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Himes was additionally charged with possession of prescription only drugs. At their initial appearances, Christopher Himes was held on a $50,000 cash only bond. Sarah Cox, Steven Hayden, Darrin Vinsant, and Brittanie Lehr were all held on a $5,000 bond and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Department.
