A Flagstaff man has been arrested for sexual solicitation of a minor.  Sergeant Cory Runge with Flagstaff police says the Flagstaff Narcotics Task Force were investigating social networking sites such as “Craig’s List” and “Back Page” for suspected sexual predators when they saw a sexually suggestive post targeting young girls. The agents made contact via text and telephone conversations with

the suspect who acknowledged that he believed he was speaking to a 16-year-old girl and agreed to meet.  Runge says 45-year-old John H. Riley made contact with the undercover agent who was posing as a 16-year-old girl and made the comment, “You don’t look like you’re sixteen.”  Riley was arrested for Luring a Minor for Sexual Exploitation at that time and booked into Coconino County Jail.  Runge says police discovered the suspect provided a fictitious name during the initial investigation and gave a vehicle description completely different from what he was found in.  A loaded firearm was also found in the vehicle at the time of the arrest.  Riley has allegedly confessed to the crime.
