A suspect who shot at Glendale police overnight is in custody.  Sergeant David Vidaure says police received multiple 9-1-1 calls about a man in the middle of a Glendale field firing off his gun.  When police arrived, the suspect aimed his gun at police and fired. Police were not struck, but their patrol car was hit.  The suspect

ran and police set up a perimeter around the field.  The SWAT team arrived and within an hour, the suspect was apprehended and booked.  The suspect has been identified as a 24-year-old man. The investigation into why the suspect was shooting up a field is underway.
