The top stories this week from Cronkite News shined on screen and on the web.

Ventura County, California is facing an opioid addiction problem and recently busted a “delivery service.” Jolanie Martinez’s story was picked up from a number of other news outlets.

The 20th Anniversary of the Arizona Future City Competition brought together a wide variety of sixth, seventh and eighth graders from across the state. Many parents and fans alike shared this story on social media with pride for these students.

Barrow Neurological Institute, which houses the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center in Phoenix, is assisting Latinos diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. The center shared the Cronkite News story with their followers.
