A Bullhead City man was arrested for attempted murder after a violent encounter with his parents. Police responded at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 23 to the incident in the 200 block of Park River Drive.
Police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said the victim told officers that his son, Albert Dominguez Jr., argued with his parents before pointing a shotgun at him and saying he was going to kill him.
“He fired one shot in his direction, but missed. The shotgun jammed and his father fled to the bedroom and closed the door,” Fromelt said. “Dominguez Jr. was able to clear the weapon and fired a second shot through the bedroom door.”
The 75-year-old victim was not shot or injured. Dominguez Jr. was booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
