Technical glitches that grounded about one-thousand flights of Southwest Airlines flights have mostly been resolved.  According to a statement released by Linda Rutherford with Southwest Airlines, more than 700 flights were canceled yesterday and 300 flights have been canceled today due to a “disruption” in the

computer system.  While there are lingering disruptions, a majority of the technical issues have been resolved.  “customers who are booked to travel should check flight status information on and plan to arrive at our airports early.”  Southwest Air is also offering flexible rebooking accommodation for Customers who are holding tickets from Wednesday through Sunday.
