The Bullhead City Police Department has erected a flashing speed enforcement sign as part of its traffic safety plan. The sign is mounted at the south end of the City on Highway 95 between Corwin Road and Central Avenue.
“These flashing speed signs have been shown to help reduce speeds in problem areas,” said Chief of Police Brian Williamson. “The sign will be used in addition to speed enforcement.”
The sign will be mounted temporarily during a testing period. Chief Williamson added the department is in the process of purchasing these speed signs to be placed in high volume areas in an effort to keep our roadways safe.
