Do you want to give your kids a break from electronics and introduce them to new outdoor adventures?
Sign up for the Arizona Family Campout Program designed for families who have little or no experience camping. During an activity filled weekend, the Program teaches families how to set up their tents and prepare food while camping and also inspiring them to continue to explore the great outdoors.
Our trained camp coordinators will assist your family in exploring the outdoors, while you create a family tradition that you’ll cherish for many years! Campers will learn how to set up a tent, build a fire and be introduced to outdoor cooking while enjoying a variety of activities such as fishing, archery, mountain biking, hiking, campfire stories, birding, and more. Families will also get to work on a service project (specific activities vary by park).
Registration is now open for fall and spring sessions at AZStateParks.com/Family. Program fee is $70 for up to a family of 4, and additional family members are $5 each.
Sorry, children 5 years and younger or pets cannot attend this program. Registration is limited and is first-come, first-served. For more information including dates and locations, visit AZStateParks.com/Family.
