A suspect leads police on a high speed chase in a stolen tow truck for several hours.  Sergeant Vince Lewis with Phoenix police says the suspect was seen stealing tow truck and police spotted him by air where they started to follow.  The suspect zigzagged his way across the Valley trying to evade police for about four

hours when DPS joined in the pursuit and deployed spike strips.  Despite flattening all four tires, the suspect continued until he crashed his truck that sparked a fire.  The suspect bailed from the burning truck and tried to run, but a K-9 was at the ready and pounced.  The suspect was captured and sent to the hospital for treatment of the K-9 bite he suffered while attempting to run.  The suspect will be booked into jail when released from the hospital where he is facing a slew of charges.
