Phoenix Fire rescued a man from North Mountain overnight after getting lost while on a hike to hunt snake skins.  Fire Captain Rob McDade says the man was stranded on the mountain for several hours and finally called for help in the middle of the night.  Crews used cell phone towers to locate the hiker who was stuck on

Shaw Butte Trail Head.  It took about two hours to locate the man. After spending all day and most of the night on the mountain with only beer to drink, the hiker a dehydrated, a little disorientated and covered in cactus needles.  Crews filled him up with some water and Phoenix police gave him a ride home.
