The Mohave County Treasury Department is pleased to announce the implementation of the new Treasury Bulletin Board Project. This project allows schools in the county to showcase student artwork in a public setting.
The artwork is up to the school’s discretion, but it must showcase Mohave County. (Landscape, people, buildings, landmarks, etc…) This will be an ongoing project, any school is welcomed to apply.
Georgia Craig from the Topock School District was the first to express interest in this project. Their project is focused on the Havasu National Wildlife Refuge with Grades 4th, 5th and 6th participating. The Projects will be displayed for approximately 3 months which began August 30.
“The Treasury Team is proud to show off the talents of our Mohave County Students! Bridget Shelton, an Office Assistant on the Treasury Team, conceived this bright idea and followed it through to a successful showing,” said County Treasurer Cindy Landa Cox.
Any schools interested in participating in this project, please contact Bridget Shelton at the Mohave County Treasury Dept. 928-753-0737 ext. 4126.
