AAA Arizona is tackling drunk drivers on Super Bowl Sunday.  Spokeswoman Stephanie Moe warns drivers don’t drop the ball when it comes to drinking and driving.  AAA is all about traffic safety and the importance of securing a safe ride home in advance of your wild night of partying and tail-gating

during the big game.

The horrors of drunk driving is really hitting home as 91 percent of U.S. drivers believe it is unacceptable for someone to drive when they think they may have had too much drink.  However, one frightening statistic leaps off the page as one in eight drivers who consume alcohol admit to driving drunk.
Whether football fans toast their team’s victory or drown their sorrows in defeat, AAA’s Tipsy Tow service will begin at 6 p.m. on Super Bowl Sunday and run through 6 a.m. Monday morning, February 8th.  Drivers, passengers, party hosts, bartenders and/or restaurant managers should:

Call 1-800-AAA-HELP (1-800-222-4357) for a free “Tipsy Tow!”  Tipsy Tow will drive you and your car home or hotel for out-of-towners, but they will not drive you to another party.
