The Kingman City Council has approved the owner’s request to split the commercial lot that is home to a Taco Bell eatery on Stockton Hill Road, east of Kingman Regional Medical Center. Co-owner Krystal Burge said the goal is to separate the parcel to facilitate the upgrade and reconfiguration of the Taco Bell store.
Burge said the porch on the east side of the business will be eliminated as part of the makeover with construction expected to begin the latter part of November.
Burge said the lot split will also provide separation for an undetermined commercial enterprise that will be developed to the north of the Taco Bell store along the Stockton Hill Road frontage. Burge said the company is exploring options for what might be an appropriate use for the area where charity car washes are conducted with great frequency.
Burge said sufficient space will remain on the property for future car wash activity as the Taco Bell is renovated and the parcel to the north gets developed over time.
