Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested four out of state residents Sunday (3/8) morning. Leon Joseph Adamczeski III, 31, and Desere Grogins-Anderson, 23, both of Cabazon, CA, were arrested on two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, felonies. Eric Allan Enders, 33, and Majella Lynn Kelly, 35, both of Wells, NV, were arrested on two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of dangerous drugs and destruction of evidence, felonies. Approximately 9:27 a.m., deputies responded to an agency assist in the area of Highway 95 and the Cattail Cove turnoff. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the California Highway Patrol Officer. The Officer said that while he was enroute to his assigned area he observed a silver vehicle almost cause a collision with another vehicle. The Officer further said that he conducted a traffic stop and had the driver identified as Adamczeski exit the vehicle. The Officer advised that he smelled an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Deputies contacted Adamczeski and observed three passengers. A records check showed Adamczeski’s driver’s license was suspended. Adamczeski was taken into custody without incident. Deputies questioned Adamczeski about the smell of marijuana and he said there is a pipe in the center console. Deputies had the passengers identified as Grogins-Anderson, Kelly and Enders exit the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed several contraband items including a digital scale with white residue, a piece of foil with white residue, two spoons with white residue, two marijuana pipes, several prescription only pills, and several syringes. Deputies also determined that the backseat occupants of the vehicle had attempted to destroy their methamphetamine by dumping it into a cup with liquid hoping it would dissolve. Grogins-Anderson, Enders and Kelly were taken into custody without incident. They were transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. Adamczeski was also cited for driving with a suspended license. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
