FKingman police said a victim caught two teenagers in the act of stealing items from a vehicle last Thursday. Officers responded to the apartment complex in the 3300 block of Harrison Street.

“The two boys fled on foot to the 3400 block of Rutherford Street where they were both eventually detained and arrested,”said deputy police chief Rusty Cooper. “It was determined that the boys had entered several parked cars that were found to be unlocked. Both admitted involvement in the offense and were booked into the Mohave County Juvenile Detention Center.”

The 14 and 15 year-olds face burglary charges and the older teen faces a weapons offense for possessing a semi-automatic handgun.
