A 16-year-old boy has been shot and killed in North Phoenix.  Sergeant Jon Howard says the teen and a bunch of his friends were hanging out at a buddy’s house Wednesday night when a gun went off.  So far, investigators believe about five or six teens were hanging out inside a bedroom at a North Phoenix home

when someone pulled out a gun.  The weapon was fired at some point and the 16-year-old was shot and pronounced dead a short time later.  The teens scattered from the house after the shooting.  Howard says police are looking into a number of theories including the possibility the kids were “playing with the gun” in a game of Russian Roulette.  He says it’s unclear whether the teens were playing a game or maybe someone simply mishandled the weapon, it’s too soon to speculate why the gun went off.  Police are working on rounding up all the teens involved to question them.
