An 18-year-old man is clinging to life after being shot and crashing his car.  Officer James Holmes with Phoenix Police says the teen was driving in a Phoenix neighborhood last night when he pulled up alongside a parked car with three men inside.  One man got out of his car and pulled a gun on the teen
 

driver.  The teen accelerated and tried to flee the scene as quickly as possible when the unknown suspect fired off multiple shots.  The teen was shot in the upper body and ended up crashing his car into a median filled with trees and bushes.  The teen was rushed to the hospital listen in extremely critical condition.  The suspect has been described as a 17 to 19-year-old White man, about five-ten, 145 pounds. The suspect was driving an older model 1990’s, Ford Mustang with a slightly raised hood and a bondo hood.  An 18-year-old woman, who was with the teen, was not hurt.  She, along with several other witnesses are talking to police.  The motive behind the shooting is unknown.  Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
