Tempe Police say a 22-year-old Tempe man has been charged with stabbing his two roommates. Sergeant Steve Carbajal says Nathaniel Anders allegedly stabbed the two after an argument.

“During that verbal discussion it turned into physical. As that physical altercation was taking place Anders pulled a knife and stabbed a roommate. As that was going on a female roommate tried to intervene. She was also stabbed by Anders during that incident.” Both stab victims are expected to live. Carbajal says although the suspect and victims were not related, Anders faces domestic violence charges. “As there’s not a blood relationship between those individuals involved, but as they all reside together it meets the Arizona revised statute definition for domestic violence, therefore Anders is facing two counts of aggravated assault for domestic violence.”
