Law enforcement officers with area agencies seized drugs and arrested ten people while searching three Kingman area homes on Friday, April 21. The first search warrant was executed at 5:24 a.m. at a residence in the 3300 block of Coarra Drive.
“A large quantity of heroin and methamphetamine was located,” a Kingman Police Department news release stated. “A usable quantity of marijuana was also located as well as associated paraphernalia. ”
Leonard Dietz, 36, was arrested and booked into jail on drug charges.
Eight more people were arrested for drug related charges during the second search that was conducted at 5:44 a.m. at a home in the 3000 block of Lass Avenue.
“A handgun, a large amount of heroin, cocaine and the associated paraphernalia were located,” the news release said. Four of those arrested reportedly admitted their involvement in selling methamphetamine and heroin in the community.
Those arrested during the second search are identified as Sandra Dougherty, 59, John Dougherty, 35, Jackie Dougherty, 27, Ryan O’Sullivan, 30, Matthew Doerr, 26, Heather Noble, 39, Kimberly Daniels, 29 and John Blackwell, 55.
The third search was conducted at 10:16 a.m. at a home in the 3700 block of Shaeffer Avenue. David Murphy, 58, was arrested after officers found “equipment associated with the sale of drugs.”
The investigation continues.
